• Community and neighborhood development
• Education (including accredited K-12 schools in the Peoples Gas or North Shore Gas service area or post-secondary educational institutions in the U.S.)
• Environment
• Health and human services

Nonprofit eligibility: Eligible categories include arts and culture, community and neighborhood development, education, environment, and health and human services; K-12 schools must be in the Peoples Gas or North Shore Gas service area while post-secondary institutions may be in the U.S.

Faith-based eligibility: Not disclosed.

People’s Gas Matching Gift Submission Process

Submission mode: Employee Required. Employees should submit the matching gift request through the employer's giving portal or matching process.

1. Find your donation receipt.
2. Open People’s Gas's matching-gift portal or employee giving process.
3. Search for the nonprofit you donated to.
4. Enter the donation amount and donation date.
5. Upload or reference your receipt if requested.
6. Submit the request before the employer's current deadline.
